Wordle is a relatively new word game that has taken the world by storm! The aim of the game is simple, figure out the five letter word of the day in six guesses. There are no hints as to what the word will be, but when you make a guess you are told what letter are in the word and the position if you are correct. The boxes will either turn green, yellow or grey and here is what the colours mean:
- Green – You have the right letter in the correct position
- Yellow – You have the right letter but in the wrong position
- Grey – The letter does not appear in the word at all
There are different ways to play the game, with many users preferring to use vowel heavy words at the start. Example words of this are ‘AUDIO’ and ‘URAIE’. Figuring out vowels that are in the word form a good foundation for guessing the Wordle of the day.

The word yesterday was quite hard as it isn’t commonly used and even if you guessed some of the letters, players were still having difficulty figuring out what the word is.
