Epic Games have released a post outlining what this Fortnitemares event brings. The event brings a brand new LTM, challenges, rewards and more.
We’ve had two Fortnitemares events, both of which were released on the 29th October. Downtime is currently underway for the v11.10 Fortnite update which will see the Fortnitemares 2019 event added.
In the past two Fortnitemares events, we’ve had a handful of challenges to complete that provides players with XP and cosmetic rewards. Last year’s reward was the Dark Engine Glider once all of the challenges had been completed.
Epic also add Cube shards that spawn Cube Monsters. These were added into the main solo, duos and squad modes, drawing complaints from a large number of players. Last year’s event also introduced the Six Shooter and added the Fiend Hunter Crossbow for the duration of the event.
