Epic Games released the v11.40 Fortnite update today which introduced a new featured called sidegrading. Players can make their way over to a upgrade station and for a small material fee, they can upgrade their AR to a Heavy AR.
There wasn’t anything else noteworthy that was added in today’s update apart from sidegrading and two new Fortnite Overtime challenges. One of the Overtime mission challenges is for the 8-Ball vs. Scratch skin. Upon completing all of the challenges, players will be rewarded with a gold skin style for the 8-ball skin which you can check out below:

In order to complete this challenge, you’ll need to have completed enough challenges to unlock the search the hidden gnome challenge.
