Here’s the locations of the no swimming signs where you’ll need to swim in order to complete one of the 8-Ball Vs. Scratch Fortnite Overtime challenges.
Epic Games released the v11.40 Fortnite update today which has introduced two brand new Fortnite Overtime Challenges to complete. Epic kicked off the Overtime challenges for Chapter 2 Season 1 last week with the release of the Remedy vs Toxin challenges, which granted players a purple skin style for the skin.
Today’s two new Fortnite Overtime mission challenges are Rippley Vs. Sludge and 8-Ball Vs. Scratch. One of the challenges for the 8-Ball Vs. Scratch overtime mission requires players to swim at different no swimming signs found around the Fortnite map.
We’ve created a locations guide of where you can find all of the no swimming signs in Fortnite to help you complete the challenge as quickly as possible.
Fortnite No Swimming Signs
Where are no swimming signs in Fortnite located to swim at?
In order to complete the ‘swim at different No Swimming Signs’ overtime challenge, you’ll need to swim at two different no swimming signs on the map. Easy enough if you know where these signs are located.
Here’s the locations of where the no swimming signs are located on the Fortnite map:
- North west of Lazy Lake at the large waterfall that was featured in the chapter 2 season 1 launch trailer. This location is a landmark called Gorgeous Gorge.
- North West of Misty Meadows north side of hydro 16 dam.
- South of the Fortnite map on the edge of the small island.
- West of Sweaty Sands on the sand on the west side of the map.
Here’s the no swimming signs Fortnite locations on a map. There’s four locations marked on the map, more than any other map we’ve seen (before lazy writers copy our map). We’ll add to the map as soon as we discover more locations.

Here’s what the no swimming sign looks like in-game:

Remember, you only need to swim at two no swimming signs in order to complete the challenge, so the four locations marked on our map are more than enough.
