Here’s the location of where to complete the investigate an Anomaly at Shark Island Fortnite challenge.
There are a number of Fortnite challenges this season that require players to investigate an anomaly at different locations on the Fortnite map. Once you complete each of the anomaly Fortnite challenges, players will unlock a new skin style for Agent Jonesy.
There are a number of different jump styles for Agent Jonesy unlocked through these special challenges. One of the challenges require players to investigate an Anomaly at Shark Island. Here’s how to complete the challenge as quickly as possible.
Anomaly at Shark Island Fortnite
As provided by the name of the challenge, you’ll need to head to Shark Island in order to complete this Anomaly Fortnite challenge. Here’s the exact map location of where you can start the challenge.
Once you’re at the location, you’ll see a butterfly appear near the first hologram as shown in the below in-game image:
The butterfly will fly around the other two hologram locations to help you know where to go to once you’ve completed the first stage of the challenge.
Go up to the first hologram and you’ll see Jonesy crouching. Crouch and then head to the next hologram the butterfly flew to. The second stage will require you to perform any emote.
Head to the next and final hologram and jump.
Once you’ve done the above three steps, you’ll see the anomaly appear behind and towards the right of the final hologram seen above. Simply go up to the anomaly to collect it and complete the challenge. There are some players that have stated that they anomaly doesn’t appear once they’ve completed all three of the tasks for the challenge.
If this is the case, walk away from the location of the challenge and come back and you should be able to see and collect the anomaly. Other players have suggested you need to be facing the same direction as the hologram to complete the challenge.
