Wordle is a great word puzzle game where you need to guess the five letter word in six guesses, with no initial clues. Once you have made a guess, the tiles will change colour, letting you know if you have guesses the right letters and if they are in the correct position in the word. Many people start this game by guessing a word that has at least two vowels in the word, as when you know the vowels in the Wordle of the day, it gets easier to guess. Of course there is no right way to play this game, as long as you get the word!

With the success of the game, it caught the eye of the New York Times Newspaper, who have now bought the game and moved it to their website. You can still play the game for free (for now) and it still works exactly the same way. There are some words that have been removed from the list of words by the paper as they wanted the game to feel more inclusive to more people, so if you are somehow still on the old powerlanguage website, there may be days where your word is different from the NY Times one.

What is the Wordle 262 Answer Today? (March 8th, 2022)

Here is how I managed to guess the Wordle 262 answer in four tries today. I decided to start with the word ‘TRAIN’ and this word showed me there was a T in the word, but it was not placed in the correct spot. I then went for the word ‘FLUTE’ and it has an E and U in it and I can place the T in a different position. Unfortunately, this word did not place the T in the correct position but did tell me there was an E in the word.

This would could potentially have an O in the word, but I decided to see if there was a double E in it first, so I went with the word ‘SHEET’. This was a great guess as it placed the S, E, E and T all in the correct place, which means all I had to do now was guess the second letter and I managed to get the answer to Wordle 262 on my next guess, which is…
