Here is what we know about the level cap increase coming to Apex Legends.
Many players have been asking for Respawn to increase the level cap in the game, which was originally 100 but was increased to 500 back in December 2019. Since then, there have been no increases to the maximum level you can achieve, which means players who started the game in season 1 (like me) have been stuck on level 500 for a very long time!
Players typically receive Legend Tokens, which can be used to unlock cosmetics and recolours of the cosmetics they already own. At certain levels, Apex Packs are also awarded, which can contain any cosmetics that are in the game, but the most sought-after item is of course the Heirloom Shards.
When you get Heirloom Shards in the pack, you will have enough to purchase one of the Legends Heirlooms or Prestige Skins in the Store under the Mythics section.
Apex Legends Level Cap Increase – Level 700
Respawn have now confirmed that there will in fact be an increase to the level cap, which will be released next season. Respawn have not said at which level it will be increased to but dataminers have leaked some badges that have been found in the files.
@SomeoneWhoLeaks on Twitter has found some badges in the files that suggest the new level cap in Apex Legends will be 700.

Some players mistook this to mean that there will be levels for each Legend and there will be some sort of progression for individual Legends as these badges are Legend themed.
This is not the case as previous badges have also been inspired by Legends and that is just how the badges have been made.
As previously mentioned, Respawn have not announced the max level as yet and level 700 is only according to leaks as of now. We will know more as soon as the official Patch Notes for the season have been released.
