There is a live in-game teaser (cat on the map) for the new Legend coming to the games in the next season of Apex Legends (S25).
Apex Legends is a Battle Royale game, which had been known to introduce a new legend every season in the past.
For the past few seasons, Respawn have decided to focus more on gameplay and the existing legends to see how they can be tweaked to make them more balanced.
Different classes have also been receiving perks, which make them the “meta” for the season, with recon being the next to receive buffs in Season 25.
There is also a new legend coming next season, which has been teased by the official @PlayApex account on Twitter, which can be seen below:

Apex Legends Season 25 In-Game Cat Teaser – Cat in Apex
Since the tweet from PlayApex, it seems there is an in-game teaser where players can see a cat on the map:

The cat can be seen in various different places on every map in rotation in Apex Legends right now.
Once you see the cat, it will bounce away and make a “meow” sound.
Is there a cat in Apex Legends?
Funnily enough, in the April Fools game mode, players were able to collect tokens in order to be revived.
The tokens had a cat on it, which could have also been an early teaser for the upcoming legend!

Apex Legends Artemis Leaks
At the moment, there have not been any leaks as to what the abilities for this legend will be.
The new season should be starting in a couple of weeks time, but we should be getting more teasers for the new legend and the abilities should be released before the season.
The name Artemis could be inspired from the Greek Goddess of the hunt, wild animals, the wilderness, and chastity.
The cat is more than likely a pet for the legend, which may or may not play a part as the legends kit.
For example, Vantage has a bat called Echo, which is used by the legend to get to different places.
Ash on the other hand has a rat, which can only be seen in finishers and emotes, but no specific purpose.
As recon legends are getting a buff next season, this new legend may be added in this class, along with:
- Bloodhound
- Crypto
- Seer
- Vantage
The only perk this class gets at the moment is being able to interact with Survey Beacons to reveal enemy positions on the minimap for 30 seconds.
As previously stated, is has been a while since a new legend was introduced to Apex Legends, with the last being Alter.

- Ultimate Ability: Void Nexus – Create a regroup point that all allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that location.
