Are the Apex Legends servers down right now (29th June 2022)?
UPDATE: Servers are slowly coming back online. Restart your game to get into a match!
There is a new Awakening Collection Event in Apex Legend where the Valkyrie Heirloom was revealed, which is called the Suzaku. If you purchase all of the 24 limited-time collection cosmetics, you will be granted the Heirloom for free, which is great if you do not own any Heirloom Shards.
If you do not want to purchase all of the items, you can still purchase the Heirloom with Shards from the Mythics tab in the Store once the collection event has ended. As with all Heirlooms that have been released in the past, it will include a Banner Pose as well as a Intro Quip for the Legend.
Apex Legends Servers Down and Not Available – Why Can’t I Join a Game?
There are many players that have been reporting that the Apex Legends servers have gone down and that they cannot get into a match. The servers are currently available and no one can get into a match at all, so don’t worry, it’s not just you!
You may get a message at the home screen, where is simply says,
“Unable to connect to EA Servers.”
If you are able to get into the lobby and try to ready up, it will not get you into the match and you will keep seeing the “Matchmaking…” and “Starting Server” messages in the bottom left hand corner.
As of wiring, there has been no official announcement by Epic Games as to why the servers are down and if they are working on a fix, but we will be updating this article as soon as more information is released and an ETA of the fix if there is one.
