Epic released the Infinity Gauntlet LTM today, and after feedback from the community, they have made the following changes to the Infinity Gauntlet:
- Shield cap decreased from 300 to 200.
- Max Health decreased from 800 to 700.
- Laser damage vs. players decreased from 15 to 12.
These changes will be monitored and further changes may be made to this and it’ll be interesting to see how much these changes affect the LTM.
If you’re yet to play the new LTM, 100 players drop onto the map as you normally would, however an ‘Infinity Gauntlet’ will drop from the sky and land randomly on the map. When you have the Gauntlet, you will turn into Thanos and have abilities such as a Mighty Punch, flying towards the ground and hitting the area for damage, and harnessing the energy of the power stone to fire a blast that deals damage over time. There are other differences in this LTM compared to a normal game including changes to loot such as only Rare, Epic & Legendary weapons being spawned, increased chances of chest spawns and floor loot spawning nearly 100% of the time. In order to get away from Thanos, Epic also increased the spawns of Launchpads.
