The new mode for the last day of the 14 Days of Summer Event is the Tank Battle LTM and the Suppressed Assault Rifle has been unvaulted.
For the 14 Days of Summer Event, there is a new mode that is released daily as well as a new weapon being unvaulted for 24 hours. A new challenge is also released on a daily basis for this event and is released an hour before the LTM is rotated and new weapon unvaulted.
As we are now on the 14th day of the 14 Days of Summer Fortnite Event, today will be the last day for a new challenge to be released, the modes will not be rotated daily and no more weapons will be unvaulted after today for 24 hours.
The challenge for Day 14 is now live and players are required to “Destroy grills with the Low ‘n Slow Harvesting Tool“. In order to complete this challenge, players are required to destroy 7 grills and the location of these grills can be seen here. Players are also required to have unlocked the Low ‘ Slow pickaxe, which is awarded once you have completed the challenge for Day 10. If you need help completing this challenge, click here.
On Day 13 of the 14 Days of Summer Event, the Storm Chasers: Surfin’ LTM was added to the game. This showed as being available to play as squads in-game, however was intended to be played as duos. The description for the mode reads, “Surf’s Up! Jump out of the Battle Bus and on to your shiny new surfboard. Use impulse grenades to bounce enemy players into the storm. Race against the storm and the other surfers to be the last one standing!”
The Bolt Action Sniper Rifle was also unvaulted for 24 hours and now both the Storm Chasers: Surfin’ LTM and Sniper have been replaced with the following.
14 DAYS OF SUMMER DAY 14 – Tank Battle LTM
The Tank Battle mode is now live in Fortnite Battle Royale and this mode is available to play in squads. The description of the mode reads, “Player health and shields drastically increased. Healing items removed and replaced with siphon (health granted on elimination). Let the best tank win!”
Simple twist on normal BR that greatly increases the health and shields players start with.
Mode Details:
- Siphon turned on and increased to match increased health
- Ammo increased
- No healing items
