Players were reporting that they were charged full price for Save the World, even though it was on a 50% discount offer. Here is Epic’s response.
Fortnite is popular for the Battle Royale mode, however there is another mode available for players to purchase, the Save the World mode. This mode has been on a 50% discount offer recently, however players that have purchased the mode whilst the discount was active have reported that they were being charged full price.
Epic Games were made aware of this issue and instead of refunding players, they have issued V-Bucks for the difference instead. V-Bucks is the Fortnite Currency and they can be spend on goods in-store. These can be used in the Battle Royale mode where different cosmetics are available to purchase.
