For Day 12 of the 14 Days of Summer Fortnite Event, the Rumble LTM has been released and the Tactical SMG has been unvaulted.
New modes are being rotated into Fortnite Battle Royale on a daily basis for the 14 Days of Summer Event. We are nearing the end of the event as it is now Day 12, but there will be some more time for players to complete the daily challenges that are also released for the event on a daily basis.
The challenge for the 14 Days of Summer are unlocked an hour before the mode is released and the challenge for Day 12 is to “Visit a giant beach umbrella and a huge rubber ducky in a single match“. We have created a guide on how to complete this challenge, which can be seen here. The reward for completing today’s challenge is the Quack Pack back bling, which can be seen here.
For Day 11, the new mode that was released is the Leave None Behind LTM. The description of the mode is:
All players have a slurp effect granting heath over time as long as their teammate is alive & not downed. If a player is knocked down they become invulnerable to damage, but the heal over time effect that their teammate has will change to damage over time. Revive your partner as fast as possible!
The new weapon that had replaced the Bottle Rockets from Day 10 is the Double Barrel Shotgun. Both the Leave None Behind mode and Double Barrel Shotgun have both been removed and replaced with the following.
14 DAYS OF SUMMER DAY 12 – Rumble LTM
Rumble has been added to the playlist. This is different from Team Rumble as there isn’t two large teams, but squads. The description reads, “Fight alongside your squad for the Victory Royale in an action-packed mode where the first player to get the target number of eliminations wins!”
A new take on the classic Team Rumble. This time the stakes are higher and you have fewer friends to rely on.
Mode Details:
- Respawning is turned on
- Green or better weapons
- First to goal score wins

14 DAYS OF SUMMER DAY 12 – Tactical SMG (Submachine Gun) Unvaulted
The Tactical Submachine Gun has replaced the Double Barrel Shotgun from Day 11. This will be available to use in Battle Royale for 24 hours.
The Tactical SMG was one of the options players could choose for unvaulting during the Unvaulting Event and it was another popular choice, but the Drumgun did win the vote. It could be introduced in the future, depending on how it is received by the Fortnite Community during this event, but we will have to wait and see.
