Here are the locations where you’ll find the hidden F, O, R, T letters for Fortnite Chapter 2 in the mission loading screens.
Before Fortnite Season 10, Epic released seven weekly challenges every Thursday. When they were unlocked, players could see and complete all seven challenges. Season 10 bought some major changes to the challenge system with missions replacing challenges. Epic have continued with missions in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1.
When missions are unlocked, players can only view the first three challenges. In order to view the other challenges, you need to complete objectives. There’s a total of eleven challenges to complete for each mission.
Epic also got rid of Battle Stars in Chapter 2. In Chapter 1, players would level up their Battle Pass from Battle Stars which were gained from challenges. The weekly challenges provided a loading screen that provided the location of the Hidden Battle Stars. This season however, the weekly mission loading screens provide the locations of hidden letters.
There’s been four mission that have been released so far, and upon completing eight of the weekly challenges, players unlock a loading screen. The loading screen provides the locations of the hidden letters. Players can currently find the “F, O, R, T” letters. We’ve created a guide below with the locations of these letters.
Where to find the hidden F, O, R, T Fortnite Chapter 2 Letters
Here’s the four hidden letter locations that are currently available to collect in order. We’ve created a map that marks all of the locations at the end of the guide.
Where is the hidden F Fortnite
The first mission that was unlocked in chapter 2 was the “New World” missions. Players can unlock the “New World” loading screen that provides the location of where to find the hidden F. Here’s where the hidden F is on the loading screen:
Unlike with the Battle Stars in previous seasons, the letters are pretty easy to spot on the loading screen. The loading of the hidden F can be found east of Lazy Lake. Here’s a map with the exact location where you’ll find the ‘F’:

Where is the hidden O Fortnite
The second mission that unlocked is called “Open Water”. The loading screen provides the hidden O in Fortnite location. You can find the hidden O north of Craggy Cliffs under the restaurant.

Where is the hidden R Fortnite
Forged in Slurp is the third mission that was unlocked and available for players to complete. The location of the hidden R is actually pretty obvious. You’ll find it towards the east side of Slurpy Swamp that’s located on the bottom left side of the Fortnite chapter 2 map.

Where is the hidden T Fortnite
The hidden T is the latest letter that’s available to find and collect. You’ll need to complete eight of the Dockyard Deal challenges which shouldn’t take long. You’ll find the hidden T on the crane that you see in the loading screen:
