Fortnite chapter 3, season 2 is finally here with the storyline continuing on from season 1 with the IO finally drilling onto the new map. We already have a bunch of challenges that have been unlocked and available to complete.
One of the challenges requires players to use a repair torch to fix a vehicle. Considering the fact that the season has only just launched and players are still stuck in an hour-long queue, we wouldn’t be surprised if players don’t know the locations of where to find the repair torch or what it does.

What is a Repair Torch in Fortnite?
The Repair Torch in Fortnite restores the health of vehicles. They run on fuel, and you’ll need to fill them up at a gas pump if they run out. The repair torch works on every vehicle in the new season including motorboat’s.
Where to find and use a Repair Torch to fix a vehicle
You can find the repair torch as floor loot and out of chests. Sometimes, you’ll also get it from eliminating IO guards. We’ve managed to find one every time on the east side of Cando Canyon where all the vehicles are and recommend you to head there to complete this challenge.
Once you’ve got the torch, shoot at a car to reduce its health, swap to the torch, and aim it at the vehicle you shot at to fix the vehicle. This challenge should only take you a couple of minutes to do.
