The Fortnite Star Wars event will be live in a few hours. There’ll be a number of new and old, returning players looking to experience the live event that aren’t sure where Risky Reels is in Chapter 2.
The Star Wars Fortnite event will be live in a few hours. The event official begins at 2pm ET, but the doors for the event open half an hour earlier at 1:30pm ET. It’s likely there’ll be a live interview with J.J. Abrams, the director of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
There’s also a high chance the creative worldwide Fortnite director, Donald Mustard, will be interviewed during the half an hour slot before the live event. The interviews will likely be conducted by Geoff Keighley.
There’s no doubt that this will be one of the biggest Fortnite live events that’s taken place. There’ll be both new players and old, returning players looking to view this one live experience. Since there’s brand new players looking to view this event along with players that might not have played since the new chapter, we’ve created a quick location guide for where Risky Reels is in Fortnite Chapter 2.
Where is Risky Reels in Fortnite Chapter 2
If you’re a returning Fortnite player looking to experience this event and log in to Fortnite since the release of Chapter 2, I’m sure you’ll remember Risky Reels. It was located at the top on the north side of the map, but was replaced by The Block.
Risky Reels returned for Fortnite Chapter 2, but is not a named located, so the location cannot be seen by opening the Fortnite map in-game. Here’s where Risky Reels is in Fortnite Chapter 2:

You’ll find Risky Reels in Fortnite Chapter 2 west of Frenzy Farm, and north east of Salty Springs (blue marker).
Risky Reels has slowly been transformed for the Star Wars event over the past few days. Once you jump out the Battle Bus and are heading towards Risky Reels, you’ll notice the large F sign along with a large countdown timer as seen below:
Remember, head in-game to Risky Reels half an hour before the event starts. The event begins at 2pm ET, so get in-game and head to Risky Reels at 1:30pm ET to check out the pre-event show.
