The Cube is the main focus of Fortnite right now and it is still unclear how/what it will affect in the game. All we know for sure is that it has left its first rune and the files show that it will be leaving six more runes, before making its way to a lake, possibly Loot Lake. We will be sure to keep you updated with the Cubes movements, but challenges will be releasing tomorrow and here are the leaked challenges for Season 5, Week 8, thanks to @FNLeak:
Free Pass Challenges
- Place Traps (10)
- Search chests in Wailing Woods (7)
- Shotgun Eliminations (HARD) (4)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Deal damage with a Pickaxe to opponents (250)
- Use a Rift at different Rift spawn locations (10)
- Search between three different oversized seats (HARD) (1)
- Stage 1: Eliminate opponents in Greasy Grove (HARD) (3)
It looks like there are more stage challenges for this week and it is likely that we will be seeing these in the future. For this week, the stage challenge is to eliminate opponents in different locations. You can see the different stages you will need to complete below:

Stage 2: Eliminate opponents in Lonely Lodge
Stage 3: Eliminate opponents in Fatal Fields
There are only three stages this week as opposed to the five different stages for the chests challenge last week, however there are three stars for each stage. This means that there will be a total of nine stars if you complete all stages.
These challenges should be unlocked tomorrow (Thursday 30th August) and we will have tips and a cheat sheet to help you complete the challenges. There will also be a loading screen unlocked for the Road Trip challenge, where players will now find hidden Banners instead of Battle Stars. We will also the location of these banners.
