Hogwarts Legacy has been developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros and is a must-play game for all Harry Potter fans! The game is described as an immersive, open-world action RPG that invites you to be at the center of your own wizarding world story.
You’ll be able to attend Hogwarts classes, duel, create things, level up, nurture magical creatures, fly, make friends, make important decisions, and gradually unfurl ancient secrets about the wizarding world.

Hogwarts Legacy Release Date – When Can I Play Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy has been confirmed to be released on 10th February 2023 for the standard edition, but there are a few different versions of the game, which will provide you with different items and early-access to the game.
- Standard Edition for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC – 10th February 2023
- Deluxe Edition for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC – 7th February 2023
- Deluxe and Standard Edition for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One – 4th April 2023
- Standard Edition Nintendo Switch – 25th July, 2023
How to Get Early Access to Hogwarts Legacy
The only way to be able to play Hogwarts Legacy first is to pre-order the deluxe edition on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S or PC and you will can play it from the 7th February 2023.
Hogwarts Legacy – Deluxe Edition
Purchasing the deluxe edition will also grant you the following items:
- Thestral Mount
- Dark Arts Battle Arena
- Dark Arts Cosmetic Set
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
If you are on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One, you can still purchase the deluxe version to get these items, but there is no early access.
There is also a collectors edition which is currently out of stock on Amazon and in Game Stop which has the following additional items:
- Steel Case & Full Game
- Floating Wand (Life-Size) With Book Base
- Collector’s Edition Box
PS5 Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition Exclusive Content
Players who purchase the deluxe edition of Hogwarts Legacy on PS5 will also get an exclusive Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest. This quest will grant access to an an additional dungeon, Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, and in-game Hogsmeade shop.
This quest is exclusive to PS5 deluxe edition players only.
Is There Exclusive Content on Hogwarts Legacy For PC & Xbox ?
There is no exclusive content for xbox or PC players for Hogwarts Legacy at this time.
