Although Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 is officially live, you’ll need to keep in mind that depending on when you log in, you’ll need to wait in a queue. As of writing, players are having to wait an hour in the queue in order to experience the new season.
For those of you that can get in, you’ll be able to play the build-free game and complete the challenges that have already been released. Along with the normal weekly, daily, and milestone challenges, season 2 has boot camp and rebuilding quests.
One of the challenges requires players to retrieve IO envelopes with top-secret plans in Fortnite. Although the challenge is shown on the challenge map, we thought we’d write a quick guide on how to complete this challenge.
Where to find and Retrieve IO Envelopes With Top Secret Plans in Fortnite
There are six different locations where you can find and retrieve IO envelopes with top-secret plans. We’re not going to go through every location, so we’ll be focusing on the ones that are found in Condo Canyon.
You’ll need to get a total of three IO envelopes. You can find one in the IO tents on the northeast side of the named location. Here’s one of the in-game images along with the location:

There’s another one you can find towards the west side of the desert location. It’s under another IO tent and will be on the black metal box. Here’s the minimap location of the second one:
Finally, on the south side of the location near the bridge, you’ll find the final set of top-secret plans. It’s near the truck and again will be on a black metal box. The minimap location is below:
