Epic Games released the Winterfest 2023 Fortnite Christmas event earlier in the day with a few changes from last year’s event.
There is no Winterfest cabin or presents to open that’ll contain cosmetic rewards this year. Instead, players can get their free cosmetics from the quest tab each day.
As with any Winterfest Fortnite event, there are several quests to complete. Although there aren’t many free rewards from completing the quests, players can still get season XP.
The Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe is also available once players complete 19 quests.

Players will need to head between Pleasant Piazza and Fencing Fields. Here’s the exact location where you’ll want to drop on the map.
To complete the challenge, players need to drop down and enter the large Ship It! Express warehouse.
