We’ve had more than 15 collaborations this season already and it looks like we’ll have a few more before the end of Fortnite chapter 2 season 7. We’ve had collaboration skins including LeBron James, Ariana Grande, Superman, Bloodsport and many others. Most recently, we’ve had the Mecha Morty skin.
In the last update, v17.40, data-miners managed to leak a number of skins that were encrypted. One of the skins that was leaked was the J Balvin Fortnite skin. There was no other information posted apart from an image of the skin. However, we knew it was only a matter of time before the skin would be released.
We now have an official reveal of the J Balvin Fortnite emote “In Da Party” and skin. The emote was revealed on J Balvin’s YouTube channel and here’s everything you need to know about the most recent collaboration.

The Fortnite J Blavin Fortnite skin will be available to purchase in the item shop on ….. As always, there’s no information regarding when the skin will leave the item shop. It’s safe to assume it’ll be available in the shop for at least three days. Most collaboration skins remain in the item shop for a week.

J Balvin Fortnite Cup
The J Balvin skin is available for free for those that place high enough in the cup. It’ll take place of August 24th and will be a Duos cup. Players need to earn as many points as possible in a three hour time window.
Release Date
The J Balvin Fortnite cosmetic set will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 26th, 2021 at 8 PM ET. There’s no information on the price, but we’re guessing the skin will cost 1,500 V-Bucks.
