The in-game news feed has updated to announce the arrival of the next Fortnite Battle Royale item, the Junk Rift.
Epic Games update Fortnite Battle Royale every week, and last week we had our first patch update for Season X. The v10.10 patch update saw Retail Row return. Retail Row is exactly how it was prior to changing to Mega Mall, however, there are now fiends spawning within the Rift Zone.
The MOTD (message of the day) has just updated to announce the arrival of the next Fortnite Battle Royale item, the Junk Rift. You can see an image of the item along with a description below.

“Crush the competition.”
The item was leaked from the v10.10 patch update files, and features in the week 4 loading screen that was also leaked where you can see a dinosaur appear from a rift in the sky. No information about how exactly the Junk Rift item will work was leaked, however, it seems you can throw the Junk Rift and a random “junk” item will spawn out of a rift and drop onto the map.

The item will be added this upcoming week in the v10.10 content update. There’s been no official confirmation from Epic as to what the next update will be and when it’ll take place, but it’s more than likely it’ll be a content update releasing on Tuesday or Wednesday. As always, we’ll let you know when we have an offical date and time from Epic.
