The Gemini Fortnite skin was added in the files at the end of Season 8, but has not been available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop yet.. In the v9.00 update, the leaked challenges have been updated.
Data-miners had leaked a skin that was added in the v8.40 update, Gemini, but it has not been rotated into the shop as yet. Data-miners had also uncovered that the Gemini skin has another style and would have its own challenges. These challenges have now been updated in the v9.00 update to show that you will unlock the new style by completing the challenges, found by @lucas7yoshi_. Here are what the Gemini Challenges have been updated to.
Fortnite Gemini Challenges
- Complete all challenges to unlock the reward
- Complete all challenges to unlock the rewards
- Play matches (25)
- Outlast opponents (1,000)
- Gain 20,000 XP (20,000)
The challenges themselves haven’t changed since they were first leaked, but they have been update to show that you will unlock the new style for the skin and the Cryo Hops back bling (red) as soon you have completed all of the challenges.
As these challenges have been updated in the v9.00 patch, it suggests that the skin will be released in the Fortnite Item Shop soon.
