For the first time in Fortnite Battle Royale, the Battle Pass is now available to gift to your friends and family. Missions are a new aspect for the Battle Pass as well.
For every season in Fortnite Battle Royale, we have seen something new being added. We have seen pets, wraps, toys and in the last season, Fortbytes. It looks like there is something new in the Season X Battle Pass; Missions.
“New to this Season’s Battle Pass are Missions! Unlock rewards by completing a series of thematic objectives that will send you on adventures across the Island.”
It looks like players will have different missions to complete which could earn you Battle Stars or XP. As of writing, the downtime has not passed so we do not know for sure what these missions are or what the reward will be for completing them.
Also, the Season X Battle Pass can now be gifted to friends, something that has been asked by the community for a while. This is available on all platforms but the timing may vary per region and you can only gift the Battle Pass until August 15th. For you first purchase, you will also be given a unique Gift Box which can be used when gifting items from the shop.
