Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Greiner set a new world record for consecutive wins in duo pubs.
Duo partners Ninja and Reverse2k broke the previous record of the longest win streak in Fortnite duo pubs last night. The previous record was 42 consecutive wins which the pair broke through with ease.
The duo began their incredible run two days ago, and were riding a 29 win streak when they set out to break the record yesterday, requiring 13 more wins in order to tie the record.
There were a few tricky moments during the run, especially near the start of the stream when Ninja was downed due to connection issues, requiring Reverse 2k to save the match and the winning run.
Nina stated on his Mixer stream that their strategy was to simply lay low and let other players eliminate one another. However, even with the strategy, they were still eliminating 15 to 30 players we game. With no stream delay and a number of stream snipers, it made the achievement all the more satisfying for the duo.
Here’s a clip from Reverse2k’s stream when they broke the consecutive win record:
They tweeted out their excitement in the tweets below:

Achieving this record with the skill based match making system Epic implemented in the v10.40 Fortnite update makes this extremely impressive and may not be broken any time soon.
The pair first teamed togethered in the Summer Skirmish Series for North America in week 5. They then continued to team with one another for the World Cup qualifiers, however, they didn’t managed to qualify for the event. It’s safe to assume the duo will continue to team for the foreseeable future.
