Epic Games have updated the in-game news feed to announce a new item coming to Fortnite Battle Royale, the Shadow Bomb (into the shadows).
Epic have released three patch/client updates in a row, something which they don’t usually do. Each update has seen new files added, and dataminers leaked new, upcoming content during down time.
The Shadow Bomb was originally leaked in the v8.40 update, however, there was no image of the item until the v8.50 update. Along with the Shadow Bomb image, the sound of the Shadow Bomb was leaked which can be heard in the embedded tweet below.

Epic recently updated the in-game news feed to announce the new item would be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale. The description of the item reads, “Stealth and utility make for a surprise!”. You can see the image of the Shadow Bomb from the in-game news feed below.
Epic released the v8.50 update on a Thursday, and the v8.40 update on a Wednesday, so there’s no guessing when the upcoming content update will be. However, earlier in the season, Epic released most updates on Tuesday or Wednesday, so it’s safe to assume we’ll see the next update drop on one of the two days.
