Here is the answer and some hints for the Dordle words for #48 today, released on March 13th, 2022.
Dordle is the slightly harder version of the original word game, Wordle. Players are required to figure out the two five-letter words in seven guesses or less and there are no initial clues in which to help you do so. Once you have made a guess (which has to be a word in the American English language) the tiles will change colour to let you know if you are on the right track. Here is what the colours mean:
- Green – Right letter, placed correctly in the word.
- Yellow – The letter appears in the word, just not in that position.
- Grey – This letter does not appear in the word at all so refrain from using it in subsequent guesses where possible.
The developer of the game is taking feedback on board from the community and making changes where necessary. There have been a couple of changes that have been made recently, such as the solid black line being placed in the middle of the words, making them more easily distinguishable.
Another big change that has been made is that the board no longer clears once you exit the browser, which means you can now compare the words you used to solve the Dordle of the day with family and friends. There is a new puzzle released daily, so make sure you come back if you need any help!

What is the Dordle 48 Answer Today? (March 13th, 2022)
Here is how I solved both words for Dordle 48. I started with the word ‘AUDIO’ which showed me there is an A in the first word and an I in the second, but neither of them has been placed in the correct positions. I then decided to guess the word ‘LAPSE’ to see if there were any E’s in the words and to try and place the A in the correct place for the first word.
This guess showed me there was an E in the first word and it was placed in the correct position and I had also placed the A in the correct place as well. I decided to focus on the second word as I knew there was an S and I in the word, but now I just had to get them in the right place.
I guessed the word ‘SHIRT’ which placed the S and I in the correct places and it also showed me there was a T in the word as well. I thought that the word might begin ‘STI’ which would leave the last two letters unknown, but I managed to guess the answer to the second word of Dordle 48, which is…
For the first word, I now know there is a T in the word as well as knowing where the A and E were placed. Looking at the letters I had not used yet, there was only one word that came to my head straight away, and luckily for me, that was the answer to the first word of Dordle 48…
Well done if you managed to guess both words to the Dordle puzzle correctly today!
