Tricky Doors Walkthrough Level 1 - Magic World

Here is a full walkthrough guide on how to complete level 1 of the Tricky Doors puzzle game, which is called Magic World.

Tricky Doors is a new puzzle game that launched on 3rd June 2021 and the aim of the game is to escape the room. There are different mini-puzzles you need to complete for these levels with some being more difficult to solve than others resulting in players looking for a Tricky Doors walkthrough for levels 1 and beyond.

This game is available to download and play on the Nintendo Switch , PC, Android and iOS devices and is free to play. As you may get stuck on some of the levels, we will be creating some guides to help you pass the level. This article will show you how to complete the first level, which is called Magic World.

These levels are very long but we have covered all the items you need to grab and puzzles you need to complete.

Tricky Doors Walkthrough Level 1 – Magic World

Here is our Tricky doors level 1 walkthrough guide:

The first episode or level of the game is called Magic World and once you have clicked on it, you will see the following information:

“The book about the magical world fascinated you, but a sudden phone call brought you back to reality. While grabbing a pen, you began to write something in the margins of the book, and suddenly you found yourself in the magical world of the book. Is there a way to get back?”

Once you click on ‘play’ you will be transported to a room. The first thing you will want to do is click on the candle, which can be found at the edge of the table on the left-hand side of the screen. This will bring it into your inventory.

You will also need to click on the handle, which can be found lying on the floor, on the left of the trap door. Next, you want to click on the chest, which can be seen on the right. Once you have clicked on the chest, you will have a bigger image of the area, where you will be able to pick up the key with balls.

There is also a broomstick standing up against the wall on the right side of the room, in between the chest and the red sack. This will be needed to clean the cobwebs, which is located at the top right of the room.

First click on the cobwebs, where it will zoom in to show you a close-up of the area, You then need to interact with the broom in your inventory and click on the webs. Once the cobwebs have been cleared, you will be able to grab the key that was lurking underneath. This is called the simple key.

Another item to get from the room is a ruby, which can be found in the golden mask, which is hanging on the right side of the room.

Once you have clicked on the mask, you will be able to see that the ruby is located under the eye on your left and you simply need to click it to get it into your inventory.

You can then turn your attention to the table at the back of the room on the right side. Once you have clicked on the table, you will get a close-up of the area and you can click on the doll on the left side to add it to your inventory. On the right side, there is a note, which reads,

“There are many worlds. The magic book binds them all together. There are no boundaries for it. To switch places, you can dip the pen of a blind bird in the magic ink, and describe the place where you want to be on the page of the book.”

Once you have read the note, you will see that there was a key under it, which is called the key with monograms and you can add that to your inventory.

Once you exit the table, you will find another key hanging in the fireplace, which is called the figured key.

Once you have the key, you can then click above the fireplace, where you can pick up the paper, which is a potion recipe and also the ritual knife located just underneath and exit this part. You then need to use the knife on the rope that is hanging up some herbs on the left side from the ceiling to get the rope in your inventory.

Now you should have four keys in your inventory and you need to click on the trap door on the floor and one by one, click on the key in the inventory and click on the door until all four keys have been added. This will open the trapdoor and you can exit the first room and you will be taken outside.

There is a tree stump next to some logs, which you need to click on to zoom in.

You can click on the axe blade in the stump to add it to your inventory. You can also click on the feathers, which is on the left of the logs, to add these to your inventory as well. If you click on the pile of logs and click on the stump, this will stand it up.

You can click on the axe blade first and then the handle you had previously found in your inventory to put these items together together, although they will not join yet. In order to get them to join, you will need to click on the knife and the handle to shape the wooden handle. This will make the handle fit on the axe blade, giving you an axe.

You can now use the axe on the logs, which will cut them in half and add firewood to your inventory.

If you exit this part, you will then need to click on the berry bush, which can be found on the left side of the tree in the background and there are some fireflies highlighting the area. This will show a close-up of the bush where you can click on the berries to add them to your inventory.

You can use the ritual knife and click on the tree on the left side in the foreground where you can see some bark sticking out. This will add birch bark to your inventory. You can then click in the background on the right, where there is some fire to go to the next location.

Once here, you can collect the following:

An arrow, which is sticking out of the statue on the right
A handle on the rocks in the middle of the screen
An empty cauldron which is upside down on the left of the rocks.

Now you will need to go back to the previous scene, where there are four owls on the right on a branch. You can click on each of these owls and you will notice the colours of the eyes change. The colours of the eyes are what you need to find the crystal.

Going back to the place with the fire and statue, you will need to click on the statue on the right.

It will say “a totem with one eye is bad luck“. The ruby that you have in your inventory can be added to the other eye.

Now, you will need to click on the eyes in the following order:

Red, Red, Yellow, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Yellow, Red.

This will release the crystal, which you can now add to your inventory.

You now need to use the ritual knife on the mushrooms in front of the statue to add these to your inventory as well.

You can also use your axe in your inventory on the tree on the left to hit it down. This creates a bridge to the back.

Click on the fire to get a birds eye view of it. The candle you have in your inventory can now be used on the fire, which will add a burning candle to your inventory. You will also need to burn the doll in the fire, adding a smoking doll to your inventory.

If you go back to the scene before, you will see a snake in the grass next to the statue on the left. You can use the burning doll on the snake to make it go away, revealing a red gem underneath. You can then add this gem to your inventory.

If you go back to the scene with the owls, you will need to click on the well on the right to get a closer look. Add the handle from your inventory to attach it to the side and add the empty cauldron to the middle of the well.

If you click on the handle, it will bring up some water and another key. Click once to add the key and then again to add the cauldron of water to your inventory.

Now you can go back to the treehouse you started in and you can place the red gem in the chest lock, located on the right side of the room and you then play the game.

You need to get the green gem in the designated area on the left and the red gem on the right. Once you have completed that, you will be able to see the contents in the chest if you click again. You can pick up the stick and the net from the chest.

You can now add the stick, rope, arrow and feathers to make a bow. Once you have made your bow, you will need to go back to the place just before you could see the firepit, where you knocked the tree down.

You can see a branch with an apple, which you can click on to get a closer view.

From here, you need to use the bow you just made to get the apple.

You can also click on the water and use the net to get the chest.

The chest is entwined with seaweed, which the ritual knife can be used on to get seaweed added to your inventory.

Use the key from your inventory to open the chest, which will reveal a bottle inside that can be added to your inventory. You will also need to use the ritual knife to take the lily from the lily pad, can be seen on the right side of the chest.

If you now open your potion recipe in your inventory, you can add the following things to the page:

Mushrooms
Berries
Lily
Seaweed
Birch Bark

This will give you ingredients which will be added to your inventory.

Now you want to go back to the original starting place in the treehouse.

Click on the stained window above the desk on the left side of the room. Add the crystal from your inventory to the circle in the middle.

Now click on the desk and add the bottle to the stand on the table, which should be glowing as you have already added the crystal in the window.

The next part of the Tricky Doors level 1 walkthrough requires you to go to the fireplace, add the firewood, and light it with the burning candle.

You can then place the cauldron of water on top to boil it and add the ingredients. You can then dip the apple to this mixture to make a magic apple!

Going back to the desk, click on the magic apple from your inventory and then the bottle. This will make you shrink into the bottle and you will be transported to a different location.

First, you need to click on the leaves on the right side of the mantis, which reveals a drawing.

You will then need to use the axe on the webs on the left side of the mantis, which the axe head will get stuck on, leaving you with just a handle.

If you go back, you will need to click on the carcass which is in front of the mantis, slight to the left to get a closer look. Click on the front to remove a bone piece.

You need to remove the string from the bow you already have in your inventory, which you can do by the bow first and then the knife.

This will leave you with a rope. You will need to place the handle by the bone fragment first and then add the rope to make a sharp tool.

Then go back to the web where the axe blade got stuck and use the sharp tool to get rid of it.

Click on the nymph that has fallen out of the web to add it to your inventory. You can see some vines on a stone in the back left, which you need to click on to get a close up.

You will see two rectangles on the stone and clicking on the bottom one will reveal a game you need to play. You need to get the beetles in the order at the top for you to complete the puzzle.

I would recommend doing the top line first which is the bugs shown on the left.

Once you have completed it the puzzle, the top rectangle will open to reveal a note, which says:

“The flower of insight.

These flowers who able to restore vision even to those who have not had it since birth. To do this, the blind person needs to eat a flower.

It can not be taken from the micro-world. The plucked flower will instantly wither.

To grow the flower of insight, you need to use a golden spatula and plant the bulb in the ashes inside the extinguished ritual bowl.”

Once you have read the note, you will be able to click on the golden spatula to add it to your inventory.

The next step is to give the nymph from your inventory to the mantis, which will give you a stamp in return and will then disappear.

Now you want to click on the flowers with eyes on the right side and use the golden spatula on the ground to dig a hole. Click on the bulb inside to add it to your inventory.

You can go back to the treehouse and click on the table again. Use the stamp on the book to open it and click on the right side to get an ink recipe, a key and an amulet.

Once you have retrieved these items, go out of the tree house and travel to the back where the firepit was located.

This is where the drawing found near the mantis comes in handy as you will need to click on the surrounding objects of the firepit in the same order.

First click the top left one first, bottom right, bottom left and then top right.

Click in the middle to get a closer look and use the golden spatula to make a hole in the middle of the ashes and plant the bulb.

This will spout a flower with an eye, which you will need to click on to get the flower of insight added to your inventory.

Now go back to just outside of the treehouse and you should see a cage with a bird in it.

Place the amulet on the lock and open the door to the cage. Give the flower of insight to the bird and watch as it eats the follower and flies away.

Click on the cage again and you will be able to collect the blind bird’s feather.

Now, go back to the treehouse and click on the scales on the left.

Here, you open the magic ink recipe by clicking on it and then the shelf in this location. The recipe tells you the ingredients you need, which are:

Pink salt
Liquid chlorophyll
Dewdrop
Flower pollen
Orchid stem juice

There are already two bottles of liquid on the side, which means you need to collect three of the ingredients to make the magic ink recipe.

If you go back and click on the locked drawer on top of the scales, you will be able to put the key you have in your inventory in the lock to open it. Here you can collect three empty jars, which can be used to get the ingredients.

Now go back to the bottle on the desk to get transported back.

Click on the stem under the flowers on the left side, which is where the web was cut before. You need to use the ritual knife on the stem, which will make a hole in the stem where you will see some liquid coming out coming out. Use a jar on it to get the orchid stem juice in the jar and added to your inventory.

There are some white flowers hanging down on the right side, above the stone and you simply need to use a jar to place under these to catch the flower pollen.

On the left side you can click on the open flowers and use the jar on these to collect the dewdrops.

As the three ingredients have been collected, you can now go back to the scales and click on the ingredients one by one and place them on the shelf.

Now you need to weigh out the ingredients. For the red colour, you need 5, which means you need to put the 8 weight on the left and put the number 5 and weight 3 on the right side. You can then use the red jar to fill the number 5 container.

For the dark green liquid, you need 2 units, so you can leave the container with 5 on the right and place the 3 weight and 2 container on the left. You can then fill the container with the dark green liquid.

For the pink colour you need 7, so you can place the 5 and 2 containers on one side and put the 7 on the other and fill with the pink liquid.

You need 4 for the light green liquid, so you can leave the 7 on one side and put the weight of 3 on the other side with the container of 4 and fill it up.

This leaves only the 6 to be filled so have the 4 and 2 container on one side and six on the other, which you can fill up with the blue liquid.

All of these liquids will then be added to a jar, making the magic ink, which you can then add to your inventory.

Now you can go back to the desk and place the magic ink bottle on the table and place the feather in it. This will then start writing something in the diary and you can then see it starts to glow.

Simply click on it and you will have completed the level!
