It’s Thursday. That means we have brand new weekly challenges to complete for chapter 3 season 1 week 8. As usual, there are a total of seven different challenges to complete, each of which will provide players with XP.
As always, the challenges were leaked ahead of time by data-miners. Epic Games now add an extra two challenges as a back up in case there are any issues with the original set of challenges.
In week 8, one of the challenges requires players to destroy different types of cactus plants. Here’s a guide to help you find the best location to find and destroy them as quickly as possible.
Different Cactus Plants Fortnite Locations
As you would expect, you can only find Fortnite cactus plants in the desert biome located on the south side of the new chapter 3 map. There appears to be three different types of cactus plants in Fortnite chapter three season one.
One of them is your standard plant, which you can take a look at below:
The second type is more of a blueish green with a purple top as seen below:
And finally, the third different types of cactus plants in Fortnite are the green, small round plants:
To complete the challenges, players need to destroy a total of three different plants. That means you’ll need to destroy one of each in order to successfully complete the challenge and earn your XP for the season.
We have the different types, now you’ll want to know the best location to find and destroy them. From what we’ve seen, the best location to complete this challenge is west of Chonker’s Speedway at the Oasis. Here’s the exact map location where you’ll want to drop or get to:
