Players have been tasked with the “search a weapon case” quest as part of the kickstart quests for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. Here are the locations where you can find and search a weapon case.
A few hours ago, the Fortnite servers came back online and players were able to drop into Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground for the first time to experience all the new content.
As with all new seasons, there’s a brand new Battle Pass which includes Peter Griffin as well as other skins and cosmetics for players to unlock throughout the season.
There’s also a brand new map that includes a moving train, new items including the grapple blade, new vehicles including Lamborghini, new movement mechanics, and much more.
As expected, the quest system has remained the same although it seems as though Epic has decided to make the quests even easier than what we’ve seen in the past two chapters.

What is a Weapon Case in Fortnite?
A weapon case is exactly as what the name suggests, a case with a weapon in it.
Where to Find and Search a Weapon Case in Fortnite
There are a number of locations on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map where players can find and search a weapon case in Fortnite.
One of the locations you’ll find Weapon Cases is in Ruined Reels on the north side of the location.
Here’s the location where you’ll find them:
On the location marked above, you’ll find several weapon cases on the bottom floor of the small building.
This is the building you’ll want to enter:
You can jump up on the top left and break down to access the room with several Weapon Cases.

Simple go up to the case and click the button you’re prompted with in order to search a weapon case and complete the challenge.
