Here’s what the Fortnite cash that’s found at the Pandora rift zone is and what it does.
Epic Games teased a collaboration with Borderlands 3 an hour after the Fortnite Item Shop yesterday. In a blog post today, Epic revealed the collaboration called “Fortnite X Mayhem” along with what the collaboration includes.

The Fortnite X Mayhem collaboration includes a new rift zone called Pandora, a Welcome to Pandora challenge bundle, which includes rewards like the Mayhem wrap, vault hunter banner and two sprays, and the Psycho bundle, which is now available to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop.
What is the Cash found in Fortnite at the Pandora Rift Zone?
If you’ve already made your way into the Pandora rift zone, you’ll notice that there’s cash available from chests. Cash will be used for one of the Welcome to Pandora challenges that will go live at 1PM or 2PM BST.
The challenge that require cash to be collected is to collect Cash from Chests and opponents in Pandora and players will have to do this 10 times in order to complete the challenge. There is no other use for the Fortnite cash. These challenges will be available until September 7th, so there’ll be plenty of time to complete them.
