PlayStation have announced that there will be a Celebration Cup exclusive for PS4 users to compete in to be in a chance of winning a Free Tango Skin, Wild Accent Pickaxe and Take Cover Spray.
Epic have already held the Fortnite Australian Open Summer Smash Cup which took place on 1st/2nd February where top performing players would be able to have a chance of winning a free Fortnite Skin, Pickaxe and Spray.
PlayStation and Epic have released a blog announcing that there is a new cup that will be exclusive for PlayStation users called the Fortnite Celebration Cup, where top performing players have a chance of winning a free Fortnite Skin, Pickaxe and Spray. Here are the details.
Fortnite Free Tango Skin for PlayStation Players
The cup will be similar to the Australian Open Summer Smash Cup where the placing will determine what rewards you will earn. The Tango Skin will only be awarded to the top 5% of players on each regional leaderboard.
The top 25% will be awarded with the Wild Accent Pickaxe, which is of Uncommon rarity and has the description, “Sharp and stylish”.
The top 50% of players will earn the Take Cover Spray, which can be seen below:
On Day 2, February 16th, the top performing players on each regional leaderboard have the opportunity to win a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
In order to compete, you will need to have enabled 2-Factor Authentication on the Epic account and your Fortnite account must be at least level 15. You will be able to see the exact timing in your region where you go to the ‘Compete’ tab in-game.
