The 14 Days of Summer Day 8 challenge and reward will go live within the next hour. Today’s challenge is to bounce off a giant beach umbrella in different matches. Here’s all the giant beach umbrella locations.
Day 8 of the 14 days of summer Fortnite event is almost upon us. We’ve been getting a new rotation of LTM’s, an unvaulted weapon for 24 hours, at least one new cosmetic in the Fortnite Item shop, and a new challenge and reward each day.
Yesterday’s LTM was the headshots only LTM with the description, “At the start of the match, all players are granted a weapon loadout. During the match, everyone’s loadout will switch over time. Compete to have the most eliminations, and prove you are the best with a variety of weapons!”
The compact SMG was unvaulted for the day and the new cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop were the Starfish skin, Man o’War glider, Conch Cleaver and the Crabby emote, which was accidentally leaked by Epic Games on Twitter a day prior to being added to the shop.
The challenge and reward for day 7 was to hit a player with a water balloon in different matches. Upon completing the challenge, players were rewarded with a loading screen.
Day 8 of 14 days of summer will go live within an hour, however, dataminers have leaked the challenge ahead of time. Today’s challenge is to bounce off a giant beach umbrella in different matches 3 times. Below we have the locations of all the giant beach umbrellas.

This challenge shouldn’t be too difficult. There’s a number of giant beach umbrellas scattered around the Fortnite map. In fact, Epic have made this challenge extremely easy, if you look closely at the map, you’ll actually see the locations of the giant beach umbrellas have already been marked on the map for you, although when jumping from the battle bus, they aren’t hard to miss.
You’ll need to bounce off a giant beach umbrella in different matches three times, so you can go to the same location and just bounce off it.
