The Apex Legends Servers are currently down and the game is not playable at this time. Here is what we know so far.
UPDATE: The Apex Legends Servers should be back up and running! Restart the game and you should be able to get into a match.
The developers of Apex Legends have received quite a lot of negative feedback this season due to the new ranking system. The new system has put a lot of emphasis on placement instead of rewarding kills/assists.
This has led to a lot of players ‘ratting’ their way to Masters instead of playing the Battle Royale game as it was intended to be played. The developers have responded to this and have stated that changes will definitely be made next season to resolve this issue, but these changes are yet to be revealed.
Players also feel like there aren’t many changes that have been made to the game to keep it fresh and as there is no split for this season’s ranked, the average player base on Apex Legends has decreased compared to previous seasons.
