The Fortnite in-game news feed has updated to tease the arrival of a brand new item, the Chiller Grenade.
The v7.30 update is expected to drop sometime this week and the Fortnite in-game news feed has updated to tease the arrival of a brand new item, the Chiller Grenade.
The description of the item reads, “Give your enemies cold feet with this winter blast! “.
The Chiller Grenade is an item that was expected to be coming to the game at some point as dataminers leaked the Season 7 challenges for week 9 and 10, with one of the challenges to use a Chiller Grenade.
Last week, Epic added the Sneaky Snowman item in the v7.20 content update, and in a blog post on the competitive Fortnite state of development, Epic mentioned that they will continue to update Fortnite every week in order to keep the game fresh for everyone.
The new grenade will be available this week in the v7.30 update but no official time or date has been released by Epic.
NOTE: There is currently no information about the Chiller Grenade available, we’ll have to wait until the v7.30 patch notes to find out how the new grenade works.
