Epic Games have collaborated with numerous artists with the first major collaboration starting with Marshmello. The collaboration included a live concert including challenges and cosmetics available in the shop.
Players could earn free cosmetics by completing the Marshmello challenges, and buy the skin and other cosmetics in the set from the item shop. The concert itself was the first of it’s kind in Fortnite.
We also have the Travis Scott Fortnite concert. Again, this collaboration included challenges that gave players the chance to get a couple of cosmetics for free with further cosmetics available to purchase in the shop. The Travis Scott concert was the bigger of the two with Fortnite break concurrent player records.
More recently, we had an Ariana Grande concert and we’ve had the Fortnite Soundwave Series. The most recent artist to join the Soundwave series is Tones and I. The first concert began on Friday 21st January 2022, and replays until tomorrow, Monday, 24th January 2022.
As part of the collaboration players are tasked with the “collect concert coin” challenge with two rewards, 55,000 chapter 3 season 1 XP and the other is a free spray.

Collect Concert Coin Fortnite Locations
If you’re wondering where are Concert coins in Fortnite or how to collect concert coins in Fortnite, we have all the locations and how you can quickly complete this challenge.
To start off, you need to change your game mode, which you can do by clicking the “change” button that’s under the current game mode you’re playing in located above the large “play button.”
You’ll then see the Soundwave Series Tones and I game mode. Select it and press play. This will load you into the Tones and I concert and within the game mode you can collect the concert coins in Fortnite.
Unfortunately, you’ll need to sit through the entire Tones and I concert, which lasts for around 20 minutes. Once done, you’ll be in a location that looks like what we’ve included in the image below:
Go through the key hole that’s on the left side of the image above. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be taken though the key hole and you’ll see music notes. These are not the concert coins in Fortnite.
Once you’ve flown through the tunnel with music notes and stars, you’ll be taken to a different room and you’ll find a gold Fortnite concert coin that you can collect. Here’s what the Fortnite concert coins look like:
Collect that one and you’ll have the free spray. The location of where you can find the other concert coins in Fortnite, you will need to watch the entire concert again and do the same thing. It’s quite tedious and does take some time.
It’s only worthwhile if you really want that spray and the 55,000 XP. If not, there’s really no reason to waste forty minutes of your time unless you enjoyed the concert.
