Epic Games have taken to social media to announce the date and time for the v9.30 Fortnite content update #3.

Epic Games update their game on a weekly basis, even if the employees are on holiday. We’ve had 2 content updates for v9.30 so far due to the fact that the employees at Epic were on holiday for the past two weeks.

Epic have announced on the official Fortnite Twitter account that the next update is the v9.30 content update #3. Epic also stated that the update will be dropping tomorrow, July 9th at 8 AM ET. In the tweet, Epic mentioned “get ready for an explosive time”. This suggests the item we’ll see in this content update is the air strike, which was leaked in the v9.30 patch update three weeks ago.

The in-game news feed usually updates to announce the new item or weapon that’ll be coming to the game prior to Epic mentioning the date and time of the update, however, this isn’t the case this time around.

We can expect the in-game news feed to update tonight when the Fortnite Item Shop updates.

Following on from this update, we’ll likely get the v9.40 update next week, which will likely be the final patch update  for Season 9. Season 10 is expected to begin on the 1st August after the Fortnite World Cup takes place.

We’ll keep you updated when Epic announce the new item through the news feed. We’ll also be posting the v9.30 content update #3 patch notes before Epic do, so be sure to follow us on Twitter and turn on website notifications!
