Epic Games are sending out emails to Battle Pass owners stating how many challenges they have completed as well as showing how many are left in order to unlock the Fortnite Discovery Challenge ‘Ruin’ skin.
Yesterday, Epic posted an image and description on their social feeds as well as the in-game feed with what appeared to be a skin. The description read, “Ruin is coming…“. A majority of the community thought the skin would either be available to purchase in the Item Shop, or would be the Week 8 Discovery Challenge skin.
A couple of hours ago, Epic confirmed that the skin is the Week 8 Battle Pass skin, stating the following, “Battle Pass Owners… Prepare for Ruin. The Week 8 Battle Pass Outfit has been revealed! Complete your Weekly Challenges now to unlock Ruin in Week 8“.
Epic are now sending out emails to Battle Pass owners outlining how many challenges they’ve completed, and how many they have left in order to unlock the Ruin skin.
Dataminers will likely leak the Battle Pass Discovery Challenge week 8 skin next week when Epic release the v8.30 patch update, so we’ll get a chance to get a better look at what the skin looks like.
