Here’s how and where you can complete the Fortnite sprinting, sliding, and mantling boot camp challenges in chapter 3 season 2.
Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 is officially underway. During downtime, data-miners leaked all the upcoming weapons and items along with new cosmetics, the starter pack for the season, and challenges.
A new season brings new challenges, and this season is no different. We have a set of weekly challenges that have already gone live along with the standard daily challenges and milestones.
However, we have two new sets of challenges, Boot Camp and Rebuilding. The first challenge for both of these questlines requires players to know where the Boot Camp is in Fortnite. Here’s a quick guide on the Boot Camp location along with how you can complete the boot camp including sprinting, sliding, and mantling.
Complete the Spriting Fortnite Boot Camp Challenge
The Fortnite Boot Camp location is essentially anywhere on the map. There’s no specific location you need to visit, there’s no actual boot camp on the map. Once you drop down from the Battle Bus, you can complete these challenges.
To complete the spriting boot camp, the game needs to see your 5-second sprint. On the top left, it’ll show what your key bind for the tac sprint is which you’ll then need to press whilst sprinting. Once you’ve done this, you’ll have completed the sprinting boot camp. You can edit your key bind to sprint.
Complete the Mantling Boot Cap
Players need to mantle onto ledges to gain higher ground. To do this, jump and hold space (on PC) to grab a nearby ledge. Again, a prompt will be available in the top left corner. Simply get to a one-story building, jump, and hold the button or key it mentions in the top left prompt.
The challenges that you’ll need to complete are:
- Mantle onto a ledge within 3 seconds of sprinting.
- Mantle onto ledges to gain higher ground.
Sliding Boot Camp
In order to complete the sliding boot camp, players need to slide when running. Again, you’ll see a prompt on the top left that will show what your current key bind is. On console, it’ll be difficult but by default, it should be left ctrl. Slide for 20 meters to complete the sliding part of the challenge.
