The new Season for Fortnite is finally here and there have been so many changes. There is a new Mission that is available to complete now, called New World, and there are eleven objectives/challenges you will need to complete. To see all of the objectives for this Mission, click here.
One of the challenges/objectives for Week 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2:Season 1 is to catch a weapon with a Fishing Rod and this article will show you how to complete this challenge.
Fortnite Fishing Rod Locations
Fishing Rods are a new object that have been introduced to Fortnite this season and they can be found almost anywhere as they can be found in chests, near water and in floor loot. There are many Fishing Rods that you will find at Craggy Cliffs, which is a POI (Point Of Interest) north of the map.
The challenge is to catch a weapon with a Fishing Rod and to do this, you will need to simply go near any source of water and cast your rod in. You will need to leave in the water for a while and then pull it back out.
You will catch something, which could be anything from a fish, rusty can or a weapon. You may need to cast the fishing line a few times before you catch a weapon, but it will happen sooner or later, just make sure you don’t have any enemies around.
