The Fortnite Item Shop has updated to display new cosmetics for the 25th May, 2019.
It’s that time of day again when the Item Shop updates to display a new rotation of skins, gliders, pickaxes, emotes and ocassionally wraps and music packs.
Yesterday’s shop included a new variant for the popular Fishstick skin, which you can see below:
The shop also featured three brand new wraps, Slippery, Fish Face and Fishy. The Fish face and fishy wraps are both uncommon and cost 300 V-Bucks. The slippery wrap was put up for sale for 500 V-Bucks and was of rare rarity as it was listed as being animated. This, however, was a mistake by Epic Games, and they tweeted out stating it was a mistake, the wrap does not animate, and the price and rarity will be reduced to uncommon and 300 V-Bucks in the future. Players who purhcased it will be refunded the difference.
Other items in yesterday’s shop include the Hang Time skin set, Clutch and Grind, as well the Cipher and Munitions Major. The Flex on ’em and the Rock Out emote were also available, as were the Bootstraps pickaxe and Coral Cruiser glider.
