Epic Games have increased the maximum party size from four to sixteen in larger party game modes.
In Fortnite, there are three different party options you can have, one for Solos, two for Duos and four for Squads. Starting today, April 30th, you can now have up to 16 players in your party for any game mode or LTMs (Limited Time Modes) that allow you to have more than four player squads.
There is a new ‘Squad Formation’ tab at the bottom right of your screen in the lobby where you will be able to manage the players in your party. You will be able to change squads within your party.
There are four different squads that can be in your party, Llama Squad, Crab Squad, Bear Squad and the Dragon Squad. You will be able to change the squad you are in or to ‘Sit out’. but this can only be done when you have more players in your party.
At the start of this season, Epic had added the ‘Party Assist’ feature, where players in your party would be able to help you complete any challenges you need help with. Now that party limits have been increased so you can have up to 16 players at a time, it will be even easier to complete all of your challenges.
