The Mission to obtain the Mystery Skin is now live in Fortnite Battle Royale and there are seven objectives or challenges you will need to complete for the Skin.
In the past seasons of Fortnite Battle Royale, players would need to complete the Weekly Challenges in order to unlock the Mystery Skin. There is a new Mystery Skin for every season, and for Season X, it was not known how players would be able to get the Mystery Skin.
A new Mission is now available to complete in Fortnite, and there are seven objectives/challenges you will need to complete. Here is what you need to complete and the reward for completing these can also be seen below.
Fortnite Mystery Skin Challenges/Objectives – A Meteoric Rise Mission

- Destroy structures with Junk Rifts (10)
- Visit different Rift Zones in the same match (3)
- Eliminate opponent in Rift Zones (7)
- Search Chests or Ammo Boxes in Rift Zones (20)
- Land in a Rift Zone and place Top 10 in Solos, Duos, or Squads (1)
- Consumer Glitched Forages Items with different effects (4)
- Touch a giant glowing cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor (3)
Completing the objectives will award you with following:
- 1 objective completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 2 objectives completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 3 objectives completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 4 objectives completed – Star Surge Back Bling
- 5 objectives completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 6 objectives completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 7 (All) objectives completed – The Scientist Skin

Once you have completed four of the objectives of the Meteoric Rise Mission, you will be awarded with the Star Surge Back Bling. This is of Legendary Rarity and has the description, “Power through the rifts.”

Completing all of the seven objectives/challenges will award you with The Scientist Skin. This Skin is of Legendary Rarity and has the description, “His mission is unknown. One of The Seven.”
