Epic Games have released the patch notes for the Fortnite v9.30 content update #2. Today’s Fortnite update introduced a brand new weapon, the Drum Shotgun.
Epic employees are on holiday until the 8th July and last week we had the first content update for v9.30. The update was considered one of the best updates for some time as not only did Epic add in a new revolver, Epic decided to unvault the uncommon and rare versions of the pump shotgun.
Other changes in last week’s v9.30 content update #1 included the rare Tactical Assault Rifle, Impulse Grenades, Rift-To-Go and Pirate Cannons being vaulted. The Shockwave Grenade and the Suppressed SMG were unvaulted.
Availability of certain weapons were adjusted including the Heavy Assault Rifle, Drum Gun, FlintKnock Pistol, BNurst SMG and the Tactical SMG. The Infantry Rifle, Minigun, Burst SMG, Tactical Shotgun and the Heavy Assault Rifle received small buffs while the Drum Gun received a nerf with the clip size reduced from 50 to 40 and the fire rate being reduced from 9 to 8.
