We have now reached the 8th week of Season 5 in Fortnite Battle Royale, which means there isn’t long left till the end of the season. As per usual, there are seven challenges to complete for this week, and once completed, you will unlock a new Road Trip loading screen. Providing all other weeks challenges have been completed, you will unlock the 8th loading screen, which will be different from previous loading screens as it contains a hidden Banner instead of a Battle Star. We will releasing the location of the Banner shortly, but first here are the official challenges for Season 5, Week 8:
Free Pass Challenges
- Place Traps (10)
- Search chests in Wailing Woods (7)
- Shotgun Eliminations (HARD) (4)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Deal damage with a Pickaxe to opponents (250)
- Use a Rift at different Rift spawn locations (10)
- Search between three different oversized seats (HARD) (1)
- Stage 1: Eliminate opponents in Greasy Grove (HARD) (3)
The other stages of the ‘eliminate opponents’ challenge are as follows:
Stage 1: Eliminate opponents in Greasy Grove
Stage 2: Eliminate opponents in Lonely Lodge
Stage 3: Eliminate opponents in Fatal Fields
There will be three Battle Stars awarded for each stage, which means there is a total of nine Battle Stars that you can earn with this challenge. The stage challenges were first introduced last week with the chests challenges and we will most likely be seeing more of these stage challenges in the future.
