The Zone Wars Challenges are now live in Fortnite Battle Royale and here are all of the challenges you will need to complete and the rewards for completing them.
The Zone Wars LTMs are now live in Fortnite Battle Royale and there are four different islands you can play in, which have been created by the Fortnite Community. The description for Zone wars is, “A simulation of the end-game scenario in Battle Royale — but with a condensed moving zone! Eliminate the competition as you avoid the Storm closing in. Randomized spawns and inventory items make each round unique. You can queue with up to 15 friends.”
The names of the different islands and a description of each can be seen below:
- Zone Wars: Colosseum
- Created by Jesgran.
- Become the ultimate gladiator in a Colosseum-like island. This open-style island demands quick building.
- Zone Wars: Desert
- Created by JotaPeGame.
- Make your way through a small desert town to the final circle. A diverse set of weapons and mobility allow for unique gameplay and lots of replayability.
- Zone Wars: Downhill River
- Created by Enigma.
- Stay out of the storm as you move downhill through a river in this original-style Zone Wars island. Community launch pads and a consistent Storm path allow for familiarity after a few rounds.
- Zone Wars: Vortex
- Created by Zeroyahero.
- This island puts a unique twist on Zone Wars with its mountainous terrain to traverse. The elevation change from zone to zone can be quite drastic!
Epic had announced that there would be Zone Wars Challenges that would be introduced on September 28th at 8AM ET, where players would be able to earn four new cosmetics, however they announced yesterday that the challenges will be going live on September 27th instead. These challenges are now live and can be seen below.
Zone Wars Challenges
Here are all of the Zone Wars Challenges you need to complete:
- Play Zone Wars matches (5)
- Get eliminations in Zone Wars matches (10)
- Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles in Zone Wars (1,000)
- Deal damage to opponents with Shotguns in Zone Wars (1,000)
- Gain Health or Apply Shields in Zone Wars (500)
- Build structures in Zone Wars (250)
Zone Wars Rewards
As previous mentioned, Epic did reveal all of the cosmetics that would be awarded to players once they had completed the challenges, but did not state what challenge or how many challenges you would need to complete to earn the rewards.
Here is a closer look at the rewards you will earn and which challenges you will need to complete in order to get them. Once you have played five matches, you will be awarded with the Zone Wars Spray, which can be seen below:
When you have eliminated 10 opponents in Zone Wars matches, you will be awarded with the Starcrest Shift Back Bling. This cosmetic is of Rare rarity and has the description, “Elegantly engineered.”
Completing the other challenges will award you with 500 XP each, which means once you have completed all of the challenges, you will have earnt 2,000 XP in total. Completing all of the challenges will also award you with the following Back Bling:
There is also another style for the Starcrest Shift Back Bling. All of the challenges are very straightforward and should be completed very easily if you play the different LTMs.
