Here are all the locations where you can find and destroy IO equipment to collect electronic parts in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1.
We’re expecting a new Fortnite content update shortly, but in the meantime, we have a new scientist challenge to complete. There’s two challenges, and they’ll reward players with chapter 3 season 1 XP.
The challenges have a description, “The IO is sabotaging the rocket, collect equipment for The Scientist to analyse”. Obviously, this is part of the storyline and will likely tie in to a live event at the end of season 1.
The second part of today’s challenge requires players to destroy IO equipment to collect electronic parts. Here’s a quick guide on how you can complete the challenge as quickly as possile.
Collect Electronic Parts & IO Equipment Fortnite Chapter 3 Locations
There are a few locations where you can complete this challenge. For this guide, we’ll be showing you the location that’s on the north east side of the map near Sleepy Sound. Here’s the map location:
Once you’re there, you’ll need to loot around to fight weapons because you’ll get attacked by the IO Guards that are there. Once you’ve eliminated them, simply destroy the IO equipment that you find, you’ll neet to destroy three pieces of IO equipment, which will then provide you with electronic parts.
The equipment are the boxes, the other items at the location don’t see to drop the electronic parts. Here is what the electronic parts look like in the game:
