It’s the best time of the year for Fortnite players. The Christmas Winterfest 2022 event is live. Players can get their hands on a total of seventeen free cosmetics.
Each day, players that log in to Fortnite can head to the Winterfest Lodge and open a present, each of which contains a cosmetic.
For those of you that aren’t able to log in to the game every day, you’ll still be able to open all fourteen presents as long as you do it before the event ends on January 3rd, 2023.
Like last year and the previous Winterfest event, there are two free skins available from the presents including two skins, two gliders, two wraps, a back bling, pickaxe, and more.
Epic also released, the Fortnite x My Hero Academia collaboration yesterday, adding to all the other new content that’s been added to the game.
To top things off, players have the chance to get their hands on a 1 million dollar prize by winning Mr Beast’s survival challenge tournament.

The winner will be confirmed in early 2023 as Epic Games will need to verify the winner before the one million dollar prize is awarded.
In order to get the Beast Brella glider, players will have needed to score 85,040 points or higher.

Mr Beast’s Fortnite Survival Challenge Tournament 1 Million Prize
The top 100,000 players in Mr Beast’s tournament will earn themselves the Beast Brella Umbrella.
There’s also a 1 million dollar prize up for grabs. Unlike other tournaments and challenges, there’s no prize pool. All of the money will go to the player that gets the highest score.
Fortnite Mr Beast Survial Challenge Tournament Start Time
The start time for the Mr Beast Fortnite tournament is the same for everyone, something unusual for a tournament.
Players have a three hour slot starting at 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT / 6 PM CEST to earn their highest score. The challenge will end at 3 PM ET / 8 PM GMT / 9 PM CEST
How to Join
Players can participate in the survival challenge tournament by heading to the compete tab in Fortnite. You’ll need to have 2FA enabled on your Epic Games account and have an account level of 15 or higher.
