There seems to be one member of the community that wanted to ruin the viewing party for everyone trying to view the rocket launch that just recently took place in Fortnite, thus obtaining the record for the highest solo kill record with 48 kills:

The player decided to destroy the sky base where most of the players were observing the launch, with everyone dropping to their death and the player, Elemental_Ray, achieving 48 kills.
Apparently, the user only had a 0.47 K/D ratio, so he must have been over the moon when we was able to achieve 48 kills in one game and hold the solo kill record in Fortnite.
The Fortnite Blast Off event took place at 1:30 PM ET time, with the Rocket located at the Evil Lair, near Snobby Shores, launched into the sky and created some sort of “Space hole” at the end of the event. This has led to many theories being discussed which we’ll be covering later on today.
