Feathers can now be found in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1. Here’s what feathers are used for in Fortnite and where you can find them.
Fortnite chapter 3 season 1 launched almost two months ago with a new map, new weapon and items, the sliding mechanics, and the tents features. Since then, we’ve had a few content updates and a major patch update.
The hotfix content updates have introduced new weapons and items as well as the lightning and tornado weather effects. The 19.10 patch added Klombo and Tilted Towers.
Today, the 19.20 major patch update was released. It includes the return of the Heavy Shotgun along with a new boss and mythic item at the new Covert Cavern location that can be found north of Camp Cuddle.
Players can now unlock Haven’s Mask with several different styles available to unlock. In order to unlock them, players need to unlock feathers in Fortnite. Here’s everything you need to know about them.
What are Feathers used for in Fortnite?
Fortnite Feathers are used to unlock different versions of Haven’s mask. They weren’t available to unlock until today’s 19.20 patch and all of the different styles have been added today.
There are a total of thirty masks you can unlock and you’ll need to complete a simple challenge to actually be able to unlock each one. You’ll then need feathers to unlock and use the different versions of the mask.
Some of the masks will require 10 feathers, others 15, and the best ones will cost you 20 to unlock. Remember, you’ll need to have unlocked the Haven skin to unlock the masks.
Where to find Feathers Fortnite Spawn Locations
Unlike the color bottles in a previous season, there are no set spawn locations for the Feathers. You can only find them from chests. If you want to get as many as possible as quickly as possible, you’ll want to land at locations that have the most chests.
To look at the different masks available, head to the Battle Pass tab and you’ll find a section called “collect Haven’s Masks”. Once you click this, you can see every locked mask and when you click one, in the bottom right corner you’ll see the challenge you need to complete. You’ll then see under each mask the amount of Fortnite feathers to unlock each one.
You’ll have more than enough time to unlock each one with Chapter 3 season 1 expected to end on March 19th, 2022. The Foundation secret Battle Pass skin will be available to unlock on Thursday, and we’ll be covering how to unlock it and all the cosmetics available as soon as they’re available.
